Yancey Outreach International, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives by addressing critical issues such as homelessness, mental health, substance abuse, and youth justice. Based in Sacramento, California, we provide comprehensive, trauma-informed care and culturally competent services to the most vulnerable members of our community. Our programs include street outreach, food assistance, after-school programs, and support for individuals fleeing domestic violence or facing mental health crises.

Mark and Stephanie Yancey

Are Ordained Pastors and Board-Certified Biblical Counselor's, (B.C.B.C.)

Mr. Yancey is a State Certified Drug Addiction Counselor, (C.D.A.C.), Certified Anger Management Specialist. He has a bachelor's degree in both Drug Alcohol Addiction Counseling and Psychology.

Mrs. Yancey is a State Registered Alcohol and Drug Trainee has her master's degree in business administration and divinity.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Yancey have worked with the homeless, addicted, and hurting for over 25 years. Mrs. Yancey was chaplain at the Union Rescue Mission located in Los Angeles, Skid Row District, for 8 years.

Founder’s Message

Over 15 years ago, we founded G. W. Outreach, (God’s Word Outreach) with a clear mission: To work with the homeless, addicted, alcoholic, the hurting wealthy, and suicidal to empower individuals to take control of their lives. We have helped many people exchange a hopeless life for life with a positive future.

As we have evolved into a major substance abuse treatment program, Yancey Outreach International, Inc. DBA’s Yancey Recovery Services & Yancey Christian Recovery Services, our vision continues to direct our calling for assisting personal growth, and national community involvement.
